Testing Headlight Aim

It is important that your headlights be properly aimed in order to illuminate the road in front of you and not interfere with the vision of approaching drivers. In general, high beams should be focused level and straight ahead. Low beams should be focused slightly downward and to the right. The correct headlight aim can be seen in this diagram:
